If Kawiski is referring to the exhaust temp sensor as i call it, unhook it at the 2 pin connector, get an electrical tester and check the resistance between the two wires in the connector going to the sensor, on mine which is a 2000 STX its supposed to read approx 984 ohms. Check the ECU for water damage or corrosion, as jet skis are prone to moisture intrusion. If it does stall, it starts right back up. Longterm, I'm going to get a replacement temperature sensor just to be safe. I changed out the plugs and ran it for a day. I can understand the dealer thinking it’s the throttle body (ie, replacing the tps and map sensor theoretically kills some of the reported problems), but I’d be more inclined to think of a wiring or ground issue due to the power management, and ABS pump issues, along with the fact they all come on at once. The carbs are blue and each carb has it's own chrome air cleaner. To access the STX-15F gauges, remove the handlebar cover by loosening screws beneath. Any suggestions?
